How to get to
Avoca Beach Hotel

 

We're nestled into the hillside just 500m from the roundabout that brings you off the Central Coast Highway onto Avoca Drive.

Our little slice of paradise is just 2km from beautiful Avoca Beach and minutes from the Central Coast suburbs of Terrigal, Kincumber, Copacabana and McMasters Beach.

Avoca Beach Hotel has two entrances

Avoca Beach Hotel is just over an hours drive from both Sydney and Newcastle.

Directions

 

Directions from Sydney:

  • Travel time: about 1hr from Wahroonga

  • Drive North on the Pacific Motorway (M1) for 44km

  • Take the Central Coast Hwy (A49) exit towards Gosford, approx 2km after the Mooney Mooney Bridge

  • Stay on the Central Coast Hwy for 10.5km, following the signs through Gosford toward Terrigal

  • Turn right on to Avoca Drive at the traffic lights

  • Follow signs to Avoca Beach through the suburbs of Green Point & Kincumber for 9km

  • Turn right into Avoca Dr at the roundabout

  • Avoca Beach Hotel is 200m from the roundabout, on the right after the Bowling club

Directions from Newcastle:

  • Travel time: about 1hr from M1/M15 intersection

  • Drive South on the Pacific Motorway (M1) for 60km

  • Take the Ourimbah exit on to the Pacific Highway

  • Continue on the Pacific Highway for 10km until Gosford (becomes Mann St at Gosford)

  • Merge on Central Coast Highway following signs to Terrigal for 3.5km

  • Turn right on to Avoca Drive at the traffic lights

  • Follow signs to Avoca Beach through the suburbs of Green Point & Kincumber for 9km

  • Turn right into Avoca Dr at the roundabout

  • Avoca Beach Hotel is 200m from the roundabout, on the right after the Bowling club

Public Transport

Directions from Sydney:

  • Travel time: about 2h 45m from Central Station

  • Take train North from Sydney Central to Gosford station

  • Catch a 66C, 66A, 67 or 68 bus to Avoca Beach from Gosford station

Directions from Newcastle:

  • Travel time: about 2h 45m

  • Take train or bus/coach from Newcastle to Gosford station

  • Catch a 66C, 66A, 67 or 68 bus to Avoca Beach from Gosford station
